What Is CBD Oil?

CBD oil is typically a mixture of CBD extract and a carrier oil such as coconut oil, hemp seed oil, or MCT oil. CBD, flavonoids, and terpenes are derived from the stalks, seeds, and flowers of hemp plants.

How Is Our CBD Oil Tincture Made?

With our full spectrum tinctures, CBD oil is extracted from non-GMO industrial hemp using CO2 extraction. When CO2 is pressurized, it becomes a liquid, allowing it to pull cannabinoid-rich oil from the hemp plant as it is filtered through pressurized chambers. CO2 is then released from the oil after depressurizing. The remaining extract is distilled and blended with fractionated coconut oil, or MCT oil. This carrier oil is known for its bioavailability and contributes to the high quality of CBDistillery tinctures.

How Long Does It Take to Work?

CBD will be absorbed within 20 minutes to two hours of taking a CBD product. The method of CBD intake will play a significant role in determining how long CBD oil will take to work. For instance, if you hold CBD under the tongue for 45-60 seconds before swallowing, it will take less time to work than when you ingest a gummy.
